The Green Mug Society What is it?Well it came to my attention that there is a lot of things being done for Breast Cancer as you see pink everywhere, and also the Heart & Stroke has the Red Dress Campaign. Even women considered Seniors now have the REd Hat Society! I thought to myself, "What do Kidney Patients have??" Well we have the Living Green Ribbon .. but the Green Ribbon is really for all Organ Donation. I wanted focus on what Kidneys do and what things lead to Kidney Disease and how to keep yourself from being in the at Risk Range. There needs to be more awareness .. so I thought, "What makes the most sense?" A mug! Kidney Patients are limited in how much fluids they can take in every day. And I thought a GREEN MUG because of the colour of our ribbon! A few people have agreed that this is a great idea! So I am starting it here! Remember I am just a patient but we have to start somewhere right?? Let's all patients do something to raise awareness and not just depend on foundations to help spread it around! We can do our part!
